1. The service
Sage Owl Academy provides interactive learning experiences across languages, cognitive skills, mathematics, AI literacy, and related subjects. Features, availability, and course catalogues may vary by device, country, account type, and subscription.
By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts and subscriptions
You may start as a guest and later connect a portable account through email and password, Google, Apple, or Microsoft. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for the activity that takes place through it. Keep your profile information accurate and do not impersonate another person.
Paid features may be offered through a mobile app store or another authorized purchase flow. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms are governed by the provider that processed the transaction, except where mandatory law says otherwise. We may change plan features or prices prospectively with appropriate notice where required.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Sage Owl Academy. In particular, you will not:
- Access accounts, systems, source material, or data without authorization.
- Use bots, automation, exploits, or other methods to manipulate progress, scores, rankings, usage limits, or subscriptions.
- Upload or submit unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive content.
- Interfere with the service, reverse engineer it beyond what applicable law permits, or use it to build a competing product from our protected content.
- Use the service in a way that violates law or the rights of another person.
We may suspend or restrict access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or when action is needed to protect learners and the service.
4. AI and voice features
AI feedback and Voice Coach are learning tools. They can make mistakes, misunderstand context, or produce responses that are incomplete. Verify important information independently and do not treat an AI response as professional advice or a guarantee of learning outcomes.
You are responsible for the text and voice inputs you choose to provide. Do not submit confidential information, another person's private information, or material you do not have the right to use. You retain rights in your inputs, and you grant us the limited rights needed to process them to provide the requested feature and operate the service.
5. Intellectual property
The Sage Owl Academy service, curriculum, software, design, branding, graphics, and other content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for your own learning. No other rights are granted.
6. Changes, availability, and feedback
We continuously improve the Academy, so we may add, change, or remove features, missions, content, or access levels. We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. If you share feedback, you allow us to use it without compensation or obligation to you.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that every feature will be available at all times or that a particular learning, cognitive, career, or personal outcome will result from using Sage Owl Academy.
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Sage Owl Academy and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill resulting from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence requires otherwise. We may revise these Terms as the service evolves. The updated date at the top shows when the latest version took effect.
